What changed from v5.5
The big shift is not raw audio quality — it is control.
- Plain-language editing. Describe a change and keep the rest of the song intact: rewrite one section, swap one lyric line, or re-arrange a part. The examples Suno and the press used were "change the chorus so it's sung by a gospel choir" and replacing a single word in a lyric.

Who gets which model

Commercial rights still follow the plan: free-plan songs carry no commercial rights, and Pro or Premier songs may be used commercially within the rules of the platform you share them on.
The download caps that arrived just before v6 still apply, since September 3, 2026: 7 downloads ever on the free plan, 20 a month on Pro and 60 a month on Premier, with no carry-over. Exports from Suno Studio are not capped.
