A song for Olivia from Sam

[Verse 1]
Olivia, that barbecue still comes back to me,
Lemonade ran down your shoes beside the porch,
You laughed, and all my careful words let go,
I knew I wanted every day with you.

[Chorus]
Olivia, my wife, my home, my always,
I choose you in the small things and the grand,
From that porch to every road before us,
Olivia, I will take your hand.

[Verse 2]
Three years later on that very porch,
I asked you for a life we’d make as one,
Your yes turned that old evening into ours,
And every year since then has just begun.

[Chorus]
Olivia, my wife, my home, my always,
I choose you in the small things and the grand,
From that porch to every road before us,
Olivia, I will take your hand.

[Bridge]
And when the dishes wait beside the sink,
The kitchen radio finds our favorite tune,
We dance between the plates and soapy water,
And I fall for you again before it’s through.

[Final Chorus]
Olivia, my wife, my home, my always,
I choose you in the small things and the grand,
From that porch to every road before us,
Olivia, I will take your hand.

[Outro]
Olivia, I’ll keep choosing you.
