What is a good score?

An average error under 30 ms is tight — that is where the highlight kicks in. Under 50 ms is solid for most playing; over 80 ms is audible as rushing or dragging. Most people improve quickly once they see whether they lean early or late.

A little, and it is consistent, so it shows up as a steady offset rather than noise — everyone reads a few milliseconds late. Watch the spread between your taps more than the absolute number, and compare rounds on the same device.
