One Team, One Dream: Cheer Banquet Anthem

We tied our bows in the parking lot

Cold morning air and a paper cup

Coach called eight, we were already there

Sleep in our eyes, but our hands in the air

We missed a count, we hit the floor

Then found our feet and asked for more

Every bruise became a reason

To come back stronger than before

Look at us now, all here together

Every hard day brought us here

We held on tight through every weather

And made this moment ours to cheer

So raise it high, let the whole room know

This is the team that wouldn’t let go

One last time, shoulder to shoulder

We won this together

The bus ride home, the voices gone

A borrowed jacket till the dawn

You took my hand when I lost my nerve

We learned what every teammate’s worth

We missed a count, we hit the floor

Then found our feet and asked for more

Every stumble turned to courage

Every comeback made us sure

Look at us now, all here together

Every hard day brought us here

We held on tight through every weather

And made this moment ours to cheer

So raise it high, let the whole room know

This is the team that wouldn’t let go

One last time, shoulder to shoulder

We won this together

To the seniors taking new roads

You’ll carry every chant you know

When the next chapter calls your name

You’ll never leave this team behind

And when the trophy catches the light

We’ll see our faces there tonight

Look at us now, all here together

Every hard day brought us here

We held on tight through every weather

And made this moment ours to cheer

So raise it high, let the whole room know

This is the team that wouldn’t let go

One last time, shoulder to shoulder

We won this together

We won this together

One team, one season, one forever

We won this together
